Use Case 6: AI-Assisted Document Creation
Create professional documents quickly using AI assistance for content generation and formatting.
Scenario
A consultant needs to create a technical proposal document quickly using an AI assistant.
Steps
1. Open the AI chat
- Navigate to the Documents section.
- The AI chat panel is visible in the right panel with the DocAgent active.
2. Set up a new document
Create a new document in the "Proposals/2026" folder called "Cloud Migration Proposal"
The DocAgent creates the document and navigates to it.
3. Request initial content
Draft an executive summary for a cloud migration proposal. The client is a 500-person
manufacturing company currently running on-premises infrastructure. Key concerns are:
security, cost, and minimal operational disruption. 3-4 paragraphs.
The EditorAgent writes the executive summary directly into the open document in real time.
4. Refine sections
Add a "Benefits" section after the executive summary with a table comparing on-premises
vs cloud costs. Use placeholder numbers that I can fill in later.
5. Format and save
The document is auto-saved throughout the session. The consultant adds their own numbers and specifics directly in the editor, while the AI handles structure and prose.
6. Convert to Word for client delivery
Convert the proposal document to Word format and save it to the "Client Deliverables" folder.
The DocAgent uses document_convert to create a DOCX version.
Result
A professional proposal document created in a fraction of the usual time.
